Welcome!

 

We are thrilled that you have discovered us, and we’re excited to be a part of creating wonderful

memories for you, your family, friends and loved ones! Allow us to personally extend a warm welcome to our vacation home and share a bit about ourselves and how we got started on our journey. We met in 1999 when I relocated to Hamilton and got married in 2003. We have an incredible son, two large breed dogs, a couple of crested geckos and a red-eyed tree frog. I own a dog grooming salon/doggie daycare and have been self-employed since 2005.

 

We rented a beautiful house in Meaford for 1 week in the summer of 2023 and I instantly fell in

love with the charm and beauty of the town. There was so much to do in Meaford and the

surrounding areas that there was a new adventure waiting for us to explore every day. It was

love at first sight for me. I was also very impressed with the house we rented and the attention

to detail and care that the host expressed through the unexpected gifts she left for us. As I sat

taking everything in, feeling deeply grateful, I felt something tell me that I could do this and so

the journey began.

 

In mid-2024 we purchased the perfect vacation home. We looked at many homes over the past

several months, but this one really stole my heart. It was already beautiful as the previous

owners had taken meticulous care of the home over the last few years with many upgrades and

amenities. We just had to furnish and decorate it and make it our own. Georgian Bay Holiday Haven has since become our “Happy Place” and we look for opportunities to go there as much as possible. It is our heartfelt prayer that your time spent here is not only relaxing and enjoyable but also leaves you with cherished memories that will endure a lifetime and will make you want to come back again and again.
